Dual Plasma System
PLADUO is an instrument
used to coagulate tissues using
radiofrequency energy.
Principle of Operation
This high-frequency surgical instrument consists of a power supply,
high-frequency resonator, control panel, handpiece, and output applicator,
casters attached for easy mobility. A magnetron generates 2.45 GHz
microwave energy, which is amplified through a resonance tube and delivered
to the applicator via the handpiece. After powering on, the user selects the gas
type, heat level, and emission interval, presses the ‣ button to prepare, and
then activates emission using the handpiece button or foot switch.
The emitted energy momentarily heats tissue and induces coagulation.

In the same device, PLADUO can select and use nitrogen plasma and argon plasma.

PLADUO can adjust the energy more evenly with 15 steps.

PLADUO’s plasma formation rate is set via Hz.
PLADUO can generate plasma three times per second, at a maximum of 3Hz,
and can form and irradiate plasma 180 times per minute.
